William Cotterill is a contemporary British artist. He graduated from Central Saint Martins, University Of The Arts London in 2006.

His paintings are explorations of movement, density, colour and texture. Their surfaces are gradually developed over long periods of time using materials including lead, marble dust, chalk, egg, flour and glazes of transparent oil layers.
